When you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information such as your name, email address, and authentication identifiers needed to keep your account signed in.

Profile and nutrition information

We collect the information you enter to personalize your nutrition plan and app experience, including age, weight, height, sex, goal type, activity level, targets, reminder preferences, hydration logs, meal logs, nutrition history, and related profile data.

Photos and meal scan content

If you use AI meal scanning, we collect meal photos and meal-description inputs you submit so the app can estimate nutrition and let you review or correct the results.

Subscription and billing information

We collect subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement state, trial timing, and purchase-related metadata needed to manage paid access. Purchases are processed through Google Play and RevenueCat. We do not store your full payment card details ourselves.

Technical and device information

We may collect device, app, and network information needed to run the service, secure accounts, support sign-in, troubleshoot issues, and keep app functionality working.

3. How we use information

• Provide account access and keep you signed in.
• Build and update your personalized nutrition plan.
• Process meal scans, barcode lookups, hydration tracking, and nutrition history.
• Operate subscriptions, free trials, restore purchases, and paywall access.
• Send reminder-related features you enable in the app.

4. Third-party services and processors

We use third-party service providers to run VigorCheck. Depending on the feature you use, these may include:

• Google for authentication and Google Play subscription processing.
• Convex for backend infrastructure, database, and application data handling.
• RevenueCat for subscription management and entitlement syncing.
• OpenAI for AI-powered meal and nutrition analysis features.
• Open Food Facts or similar sources for barcode and food catalog lookups.

These providers may process data on our behalf as needed to deliver their part of the service.

5. Retention

We keep account, nutrition, and subscription information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you request deletion, we will work to remove or anonymize data unless we must keep it for security, legal, or billing reasons.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
