Delete Your Account

⚠️ Important: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
How to Request Account Deletion
Steps to Delete Your Account:
- Open the LogMyLog app on your device
- Navigate to Settings (usually accessible from the main menu or profile section)
- Find the "Account" section
- Tap "Delete Account" or "Request Account Deletion"
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your deletion request
- Confirm your identity if prompted (for security purposes)

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please send an email to:
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account Information: Your user account, username, and authentication credentials
- Health Tracking Data: All your poop logs, including timestamps, types, feelings, locations, duration, wipe counts, and flush information
- Photos: All photos you've uploaded, including photos attached to logs and CrapChat posts
- Social Data: Your CrapChat groups, posts, messages, and friend connections
- Preferences: App settings, notification preferences, and theme preferences
- Statistics: All calculated statistics, streaks, and achievements
- Push Notification Tokens: Device tokens used for push notifications
What Data May Be Retained
For legal and operational purposes, some data may be retained for a limited period:
- Transaction Records: Purchase history and payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes (as required by law)
- Moderation Records: Reports or moderation actions may be retained for up to 90 days for safety and security purposes
- Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics purposes
Data Deletion Timeline
Once you submit a deletion request:
- Immediate: Your account will be deactivated and you will no longer be able to access the app
- Within 30 days: All personal data will be permanently deleted from our active systems
- Within 90 days: Data will be removed from backup systems (if applicable)
Note: Some data may take longer to delete from third-party services (Supabase, Adapty) depending on their data retention policies.
Third-Party Services
Your data is stored with the following third-party services. When you delete your account, we will request deletion from:
- Supabase: Your database records and stored files
- Adapty: Your subscription and purchase history
Please note that third-party services may have their own data retention policies and deletion timelines.
What Happens After Deletion
- You will no longer be able to log in to your account
- All your logs, photos, and social content will be permanently removed
- You will be removed from all CrapChat groups
- Your friend connections will be removed
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the app again in the future
